More Advice

Don't get your palm read unless you're really ready to hear what the lady says.

Don't go to the doctor unless you're really ready to hear what the lady says.

Don't take all the lavender you've been picking on your walks, rub off the blooms into a little tin box then when your co-workers ask you what you're doing tell them you're making a "serenity box".

HOw much did you pay for the palm reading? The good ones out here are $150, or so I hear.

It was free from a friend who's been learning from her aunt. I guess you get what you pay for, but what she found was textbook.

Oh well!

What they all find is text book, thats why it can be learned from a text book. It's all in the delivery, and being able to read you subject. Oh, and the fact that people (even the cynical like me) tend to hear what they want to hear, not what is said. This is well known in teaching theory!

I had worked with her for about a month. She was noting the length of various lines and stuff. It was one thing for to say all that but then a few month's later at a doc's appt. it kind of followed suit.
